We can consider it monotony and drudgery 2. Or we can be thankful and focus on the meaning of the constants in our lives C. How are we approaching the constants in our lives? D. What about spiritual constants? 1. The assembly of the saints (Hebrews 10:24)? Is it drudgery or do you enjoy being with Christians? 2. The Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:20-31)? Has it become an empty ritual or do we take advantage of the time to consider the death of our Lord? 3. Singing and praying (1 Corinthians 14:13-16, Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)? Has it become old hat or a source of encouragement? E. Outside of the assembly? 1. Helping those in need (Galatians 6:10)? 2. Proclaiming God's word, even if it is not heard (Matthew 28:18)? a. even when we despair, consider the prophets b. They would preach for 30, 40 years, and not much seemed to happen! c.
