What's your attitude? What should it be? II. People Who Trusted in Themselves A. Hosea 7 1. God talks about Ephraim and Judah 2. They have called to other principalities 3. vv. 6-7: they have not called upon God 4. vv. 10-13: they will be destroyed because of it 5. where should their trust have been? B. Proverbs 14:12: There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death 1. How true! 2. liberalism= "I think," not, "God says," a. how many will perish due to their thoughts? b. Is what you do "God says" or "I think?" C. Matthew 7:13-14 1. Narrow gate and wide gate 2. Where will more people go? III. Conclusion A. Everybody is a good driver and everyone is a good person B. yet there are so many accidents, and so much wickedness C. Are you justified by "I think," or "God says?" D. If you have never been baptized, you are not justified by what God says, for in Scripture this is clearly displayed (Acts 2:38) E. If you have sin upon you, you are not justified by God; please come and repent of it F. Please, come to the front as we stand and sing
