Brethren,
Greetings.
Peace, mercy, and grace be with you all from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The weather is still rather warm, but gasoline prices have moderated and the overall climate is better. The work continues.
Working with the Brethren
We have continued to associate with the brethren as we have opportunity. This month was a bit more difficult on account of our travels explained below; nevertheless, we were able to spend time with the brethren to encourage them, and things are well.
Lessons and Classes
Lessons in June were not as structured as in months past and future. I presented lessons regarding the nature of the end times and how we are to work in the Kingdom, an exposition of Romans 8:28, the need for modesty, and the need to excel in Christ. In July I will begin a Sunday evening series on the churches of the New Testament and what we can learn, good and bad, from their examples. The lessons, as always, are available in outline and mp3 form at norwalkchurch.org.
The class on Luke concluded at the end of the month; the class seemed to enjoy the study, and feel as if they have learned much from it. I will be spending the rest of the year teaching the adult class denominations, their doctrines, and how to promote the Gospel to them.
Evangelism
While we are still encouraging the brethren to promote the Gospel to their family, friends, neighbors, and associates, most of our evangelistic efforts are being directed toward the county fair in August and the gospel meeting in September. We are planning a July door-knocking and working on establishing the Bible correspondence course before the fair begins. Tracts are still available, and more will be written after the correspondence course is established.
Travels
June was a bit more hectic and less productive than usual on account of travels that encompassed the middle of the month. We attended a wedding in Missouri, visited family in Illinois, and I was able to meet with the church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, for a short weekend gospel meeting. It was good to see brethren in all of these places.
Current Studies
On account of my travels and the schedules of the members with whom I study, no formal studies were held in June. We hope to re-establish them in July.

I would like to thank all of you for your participation in the work here in Norwalk, either through your prayers or through encouraging me or through financial support. I would like to solicit your continual prayers so that the work here may prosper.
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirits.
