Greetings.
Peace, mercy, and grace be with you all from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Snow is on the ground, and everyone here is looking forward to spring. We hope all is well with all of you.
Working with the Brethren
Winter always seems to be the season when people stay in more; nevertheless, the brethren have enjoyed more opportunities this season to be with one another than in previous years. We enjoyed a potluck to send off one of our members to Alabama and enjoyed other times together.
We also began the movie night concept. It was well-attended and enjoyed by those who participated.
Lessons and Classes
This month's morning lessons in Norwalk addressed various topics, including purpose, prayer, the judgment, and 1 Corinthians 10:4. In the evening we have continued our analysis of the virtues and values that should mark the Christian with humility, faithfulness, and gentleness and meekness. The lessons, as always, are available in outline and mp3 form at norwalkchurch.org.
We are continuing the class on the Minor Bible Characters. Interest and participation are high.
Our monthly study was again well-attended and involved the godhead.
The Ladies' Bible classes are continuing.
Evangelism
Since the snow has decided to remain when we would normally be door knocking, we will hold off until preparing for the lectureship in the spring.
We are currently preparing for our spring lectureship from April 20-25.
We also are continuing to work out the Bible correspondence course structure; we have received many requests from the website for the course and should soon begin offering it within the community.
